About Me

I graduated with a B.S degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2009. Immediately after graduating I got married and moved across the country. I became a licensed speech-language pathology assistant in 2011 after discovering that I could use my bachelors degree and work in the field to gain some insight and experience. I am currently working in a public school setting in Texas with students from preschool through fifth grade at two schools.

I've decided to join the blogging world for a few reasons. The main reason is to share my ideas and activities with those in the speech-language therapy profession. I LOVE to create my own activities using themes and the interests of the students I service, especially items for my Spanish dominant students. I am currently applying to graduate programs and would love to have a place where I can document my journey through the process (which is why I have chosen to remain anonymous for the time being.) Last reason for joining? I'm obsessed with reading SLP blogs! ;)

Feel free to follow my "speech" board on Pinterest-which is another site I'm addicted to! If you have any questions/suggestions/comments about my blog, please feel free to contact me at bilingualspeechandlanguage@gmail.com.

Thanks for dropping by!
